D.I.Y Bead Bracelets

The BASICS:  Make your own Bead bracelets

A very simple bracelet to make. It may look simple and plain, but if you change it up... stack your bead bracelets. They become some serious arm candy.

 

The things you'll need:

• Beads
• Elastic String  (alternative: bead string)
• Scissors

 
Making the bracelets.

Firstly, cut a long piece of the elastic string, around 30 cm will do. Fold it in half, and tie a knot, bringing the two strings together create one piece of string.

 

Using the looped end, simply pass the bead through the elastic string.

 Do this several times, keeping in mind the bead pattern you wish to achieve.

Once you have added all the beads you wish to use and it is long enough to wrap around your wrist. Simply tie a knot, bringing the two ends together. This can be a little tricky, soo --- be warned :)

Here's the finished bracelet.

 As you can see, I wanted to make the bead bracelet more enticing by adding a charm. Cute isn't it? The best part about bead bracelets is that you can play around with several beads off all sizes, style and materials.

Bead bracelets are simply to make and are wonderful presents to give to friends, family or for anybody special.
